Most sweatpants advertised as "plastic-free" really aren't. Brands use the term "exclusive of trim" so that they can say their products are 100% Cotton. There's nothing illegal about this, but it doesn't feel right to us. While the main fabric may be 100% cotton, the elastic waistbands and ankle cuffs are still spandex and polyester, which are plastic and not natural. Our Lightweight Organic Cotton Sweatpants are different. We use completely natural waistbands and ankle cuffs made with 60% Organic Cotton and 40% Natural Rubber.
